Poco India recently announced that the Indian variant of the Poco F7 will come with a 7,550mAh silicon-carbon (Si/C) battery, making it the biggest battery ever seen in a smartphone at launch in the country.
In contrast, Poco officially confirmed in a post on X (formerly Twitter that the global edition will ship with a 6,500mAh battery.

Poco hasn’t provided a reason for this difference, but it’s clear the company has tailored the device differently based on market needs. The good news is that both variants will support 90W fast wired charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging, so charging speed stays the same.
The Poco F7 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, ensuring fast and smooth performance. On the camera front, the phone will feature a 50MP primary sensor.
It will also include a 6,000mm² 3D IceLoop cooling system to help keep temperatures under control during heavy usage.
The phone is set to launch in three colour options, though pricing for the global version hasn’t been revealed yet. Considering the Poco F7 Pro launched at $499, the F7 is expected to land somewhere between $400 and $450 globally. In India, it’s confirmed to launch at under Rs 35,000 (approx $400).
