Redmi's latest offering, the Redmi 12 was launched globally last month and since then, details about the phone's launch in India were awaited. An official launch of the phone in India had been teased by the brand in June but nothing had been made official. And now, the wait is over for those waiting to get their hands on the phone as the official launch date for Redmi 12 has now been revealed by the brand. Xiaomi India has confirmed the Redmi 12 launch date in the country. Along with the launch date, the company has also announced noted Bollywood actress Disha Patani as its style icon. There is a dedicated microsite on the Xiaomi India website, which shows some key highlights of the phone, such as the crystal glass design, triple camera layout, and silver colour option. The timing of the launch isn’t very surprising considering the handset’s MIUI build (for India) was recently spotted on the server. Xiaomi is all set to welcome the new Redmi 12 in India and this will happen next month.
