Paytm celebrates merchant partners, hundreds get India vs New Zealand test match tickets

Paytm today announced the ‘Paytm se Stadium’ offer for its merchant partners. To encourage the acceptance of digital payments, the company is offering merchants, up to 100 tickets per match during the India vs New Zealand test match in Kanpur city. The offer will also be available for the matches in Mumbai. Hundreds of merchant partners in Jaipur, Ranchi and Kolkata have already won tickets for the matches held in the cities.

Paytm is the largest payments platform in India based on the number of consumers, number of merchants, number of transactions and revenue as of March 31, 2021. The company is a leader in the offline merchants space by transaction value as well as volume and has 22 million registered merchants, as of June 30, 2021.

The company is motivating merchants to accept and promote all kinds of digital payments — Paytm Wallet, Paytm UPI, Paytm Postpaid, cards and others. Merchant partners can avail the tickets from the Paytm for Business app, by redeeming their Merchant Cashback Points. They can earn the points by accepting payments from the Paytm app and encouraging customers to pay via Paytm. Merchant partners will receive cashback points for every payment.

Along with the tickets for the upcoming series in Kanpur, merchant partners can win many exciting rewards and vouchers by redeeming their cashback points on the Paytm for Business app. The company has been conducting several activities in the city, from bike rallies to fun activities for merchants and consumers, to promote digital payments.

The Paytm for Business app provides merchants a comprehensive set of business management tools, including real time bank settlement and analytics, reconciliation services, banking services, access to financial services (such as working capital loans and insurance products, through our financial institution partners), and business growth insight tools (such as promoting their business on Paytm App and managing loyalty solutions and other cloud services) to measure their business performance.

Paytm spokesperson said, “We have the privilege of working with thousands of merchants, who are an integral part of the Paytm ecosystem and vision. To encourage merchants and consumers to go cashless and adopt digital payments and by combining our users’ love for cricket, we are happy to launch the Paytm se Stadium offer.”
