OnePlus has begun rolling out OxygenOS 12 for the OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, OnePlus 8T, and OnePlus 9R, which is based on Android 12. The new software update is currently in ‘open beta,’ and the stable version will be available “soon”.
The most recent version of OxygenOS encountered issues in the past after users reported bugs as a result of the update. The new beta version of Android 12 for these OnePlus smartphones may also contain bugs, so regular users should wait for the stable version.
The OxygenOS 12 for the OnePlus 8 series is currently available in India and North America, while users in the European Union will need to complete “additional validation steps,” with more information expected soon. As per OnePlus changelog, Android 12 for OnePlus 9R is only available in India.
