Oppo has just launched its latest smartwatch the Oppo Watch X2 Mini, alongside the new Find X8s, X8s+, and X8 Ultra smartphones in China. It’s a compact and stylish wearable that packs in a solid mix of performance, health features and smart connectivity. Here’s what we know about the new smartwatch.
The Watch X2 Mini comes with a stainless steel body, a 1.32-inch AMOLED display, and 2.5D curved glass for a premium feel. The screen has a 466×466 resolution with 352 PPI, and it’s bright enough to see even in sunlight, reaching 600 nits by default and up to 1000 nits peak brightness. It also supports an always-on display, so your watch face stays visible at a glance.

Under the hood, the Watch X2 Mini runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chip, paired with a BES2800BP co-processor to keep things efficient and smooth. You get 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and an extra 4GB of EMMC storage dedicated to RTOS functions, helping balance power and performance.
Battery life is solid as it lasts up to 2.5 days in smart mode and up to 7 days in power-saving mode. And thanks to fast charging, just 10 minutes of charge gives you enough juice for a full day, while a complete charge takes around an hour.
One of the standout features is the Travel Guardian system, a first in the industry. It offers real-time location sharing, sends automatic health alerts, and has a one-tap emergency contact button in case of critical situations.
The Watch X2 Mini is equipped with an 8-channel heart rate sensor and a 16-channel SpO₂ sensor, enabling all-day tracking. It also monitors stress levels, sleep stages (including REM), and even checks for snoring risks using bio-signal analysis.
Women’s health features are built-in too, including menstrual cycle tracking and ovulation prediction. And if you have a compatible CGM (continuous glucose monitoring) device, it can even show real-time blood sugar levels.
Fitness lovers will appreciate the 100+ workout modes available, including auto-detection for six types of activities. It tracks sports like running, swimming, and skiing, with extra features for runners like Fat Burn Run mode, voice guidance, and post-run feedback powered by Oppo’s DeepSeek-R1 AI engine.

The Watch X2 Mini supports independent eSIM, which means you can make calls and reply to WeChat messages without needing your phone. It also includes NFC for contactless payments, smart door unlocking, and even digital car key support for selected vehicles from BYD, Li Auto, and Leapmotor.
For accurate location tracking, it connects to five satellite positioning systems. It’s also built tough, with 5ATM water resistance and an IP68 rating for dust and splash protection.
On the software side, it runs ColorOS Watch 7.0 and supports phones running Android 10 or later, as well as iOS 14 or later. Some features, though, work best when paired with Oppo phones.
Smart features include things like remote camera preview, auto-pausing music during sleep, and smooth notification syncing through Fluid Cloud.
