According to reports, Oppo could bring some advanced camera features to its upcoming Oppo Reno 17 series. The company is reportedly considering support for a telephoto extender, which is a feature mainly found on Oppo Find X flagship smartphones.

Oppo Reno 17 May Support Telephoto Extender
According to tipster Smart Pikachu on Weibo, Oppo is most likely planning to add a telephoto extender to the Reno 17 series.
The feature is currently limited to the company’s higher-end Find X series but Oppo could potentially bring the feature to its mid-premium Reno smartphones with the next generation.
However, it is still too early to confirm whether the Reno 17 series will actually support the telephoto extender. More information about the lineup is expected to emerge a few weeks after the Find X10 series officially launches.
As for the launch timeline, the Oppo Reno 16 series was introduced in China in May. Based on the company’s usual six-month launch cycle, the Reno 17 lineup is expected to be unveiled around November.
Oppo Find X10 Receives 3C Certification
Meanwhile, the Oppo Find X10 series appears to be moving closer to its launch in China. Tipster Anvin @ZionsAnvin on X has shared details of a smartphone with model number PMW110 from the series being spotted on China’s 3C certification database. While it doesn’t reveal many details, the listing indicates that the smartphone could be come with support for an 80W charger.
Earlier this month, two upcoming Oppo smartphones with model numbers PMX100 and PMW110 received SRRC approval for network access in China. Both devices are believed to belong to the Find X10 series.

Oppo Find X10 Series Launch Timeline
Oppo is reportedly planning to launch the Find X10 series in China in September. If this timeline is accurate, the new flagship lineup would arrive around a month earlier than the previous generation.
There is currently no confirmed information about the global launch of the Find X10 series. However, some reports have hinted that an international launch could take place in October or November.
