Oppo K15 Design, Key Specifications Officially Revealed Ahead of July 24 China Launch

Oppo is gearing up to expand its K15 series in China with the launch of the Oppo K15 on July 24. The company has already introduced the Oppo K15 Pro, K15 Pro+, K15 Turbo, and K15 Turbo Pro in the lineup. Now, ahead of the official launch of the standard model in the series, it has been listed on the official Oppo Shop. The listing reveals quite a few details of the upcoming model including its design, colour options and several key specifications.

Oppo K15 Design Officially (Confirmed)

The official listing shows that the Oppo K15 follows the same design language as the K15 Pro series. It features a flat-frame design, a rectangular rear camera module, and the signature breathing light integrated into the back panel.

Oppo says the smartphone adopts a “Futuristic Speed Aesthetic” design. It also features a “Lan Ying” breathing light on the rear and will be available in Rapid White and Gale Grey colour options.

The Oppo K15 is confirmed to sport a 6.59-inch display, although the company has not yet disclosed its resolution or refresh rate.

Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Super chipset paired with Oppo’s Tide Engine designed to enhance overall performance.

The handset packs a large 8,000mAh Glacier battery with support for 80W fast charging. To manage heat during extended usage, Oppo has equipped the device with a next-generation cooling system featuring a 4,950mm² VC heat dissipation plate. The company also claims the internal cooling fan has been tested for a five-year lifespan.

For photography, the Oppo K15 features a 50MP primary camera with OIS, accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, it houses a 50MP selfie camera. The smartphone will run ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 out of the box.

In terms of durability, the Oppo K15 has passed eight military-grade durability tests and carries an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. It also supports dual-band GPS, tri-frequency BeiDou positioning, and includes Oppo’s Shanhai Communication technology aimed at improving network connectivity.

Launch Date and Availability

The Oppo K15 is scheduled to launch in China on July 24 with sales set to begin the same day at 10:00 AM local time. According to the official listing, the smartphone is expected to be offered in a single 12GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration.

The device is already available for pre-booking in China. However, Oppo is yet to announce its official pricing.
