Oppo has not officially explained the specific reason behind the latest price revisions. However, the repeated price increases across several models highlight how quickly smartphone pricing can change in the current market conditions.
The price adjustments come at a time when smartphone manufacturers are facing rising component costs across the industry. One of the key factors often mentioned is the increasing cost of memory chips.
Supply for memory components typically used in consumer electronics like smartphones can become tighter. When this happens, device manufacturers sometimes adjust retail prices even after the products have already been launched in the market.
For consumers, this also means that the launch price of a smartphone may not always remain unchanged months after its debut, especially when component costs fluctuate.
Answer. The revised Market Operating Prices (MOP) for Oppo Reno and A-series smartphones will be applicable starting March 17, 2026.
Answer. The Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini has seen the biggest hike of ₹3,000, while the Oppo Reno 15 Pro has gone up by ₹2,000.
Answer. Oppo hasn’t given an official reason, but rising component costs, especially memory chips, are widely seen as the main factor behind these adjustments.
