Oppo appears to be preparing for the India launch of its next flagship, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra. The device has now been spotted on India’s BIS certification platform, hinting that its debut in the country could be just around the corner. Here are more details.
The Oppo Find X9 Ultra carrying the model number CPH2841 has received approval from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on March 27. This development strongly suggests that the smartphone is gearing up for an India launch soon.
Earlier, the device had already surfaced on certification platforms in countries like Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia.

Oppo had previously confirmed that the Find X9 Ultra would be the brand’s first Ultra-branded flagship to launch outside China. Traditionally, Oppo’s Ultra models have remained exclusive to the Chinese market, making this a significant shift in strategy.
The smartphone is expected to launch in China in April, although it remains unclear whether the company will hold a single global launch event or separate unveilings for different regions.
As per reports, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra is likely to feature a 6.82-inch AMOLED display with a 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, delivering flagship-level performance.
In China, the device may be offered with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage, making it suitable for heavy multitasking and storage needs.
The smartphone is also tipped to pack a large 7,050mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
For photography, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra could feature a powerful quad-camera setup. This may include a 200MP Sony LYT-901 primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, a 200MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and another 50MP periscope telephoto camera with up to 10x optical zoom.
On the front, the device is expected to house a 50MP selfie camera with autofocus support.
In terms of design, the smartphone may come with a metal frame and a leather-finish rear panel, giving it a premium look and feel. The thickness is expected to range between 8.65mm and 9.1mm, while the weight could be around 235g to 236g.
While Oppo has not officially announced the launch date yet, tipster Yogesh Brar suggests that the Oppo Find X9 Ultra could debut in China and select global markets on April 20, 2026.
The India launch is expected to follow shortly after.
