OPPO is gearing up to unveil its latest flagship series, the Find X7, at the end of January in China.
That would complete the first round of flagship announcements from the big three in China: Xiaomi with the Xiaomi 14 series, Vivo with the X100 series, and now OPPO with the Find X7 series.
If reports are to be believed there will be three devices in the lineup the Find X7, Find X7 Pro, and a surprise addition, the Find X7 Ultra.
According to recent leaks, including a significant post by the well-known tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the standard Find X7 is rumored to be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset.
This processor, also powering the Vivo X100, is expected to be paired with a robust 5,000mAh battery.
Stepping up the game, the Find X7 Pro is speculated to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, a choice indicative of OPPO’s commitment to providing high-performance devices.
Complementing this is the Pro model’s 4,860mAh battery, which might support 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
The most intriguing revelation, however, is the Find X7 Ultra, a first for any OPPO smartphone.
Touted as an advanced version of the Pro model, this variant is expected to feature the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip but with an increased battery capacity of 5,000mAh.
While details are still sparse, the Ultra model is poised to house a 50MP Sony IMX858 telephoto sensor with 6x zoom and OIS, alongside a 3x zoom Sony IMX890 sensor.
The main camera might feature a 50MP Sony LYT-900 sensor, known for its 1-inch size, while the ultrawide snapper could employ a LYT-600 sensor.
For selfie enthusiasts, a 32MP front camera is anticipated.
Additionally, OPPO’s annual photography forum hinted at features like Hypertone camera systems, Hasselblad Portrait Mode, and Bokeh Flare Portrait, and more.
For display, the Find X7 Pro is expected to sport a 2K AMOLED screen, ensuring vibrant and clear visuals.
Both models might run on ColorOS based on Android 14.
With the speculated 100W wired and 50W wireless charging capabilities in the Pro model, OPPO seems to be setting new standards in charging technology.
The larger battery capacities across the series also indicate a focus on extended usage, a critical aspect for modern consumers.
OPPO also recently expanded its smartphone lineup with the launch of the Reno 11 series in China, following the success of the Reno 10 line.
This new series, which debuted in November, includes two models: the Reno 11 and the Reno 11 Pro, both featuring enhanced designs and upgraded hardware.
Notably absent at this launch is the Reno 11 Pro Plus model.
The Reno 11 Pro, the more premium of the two, is priced at CNY 3,499 for the variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and CNY 3,799 for the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage option.
It comes in three appealing colors: Moonstone, Obsidian Black, and Turquoise Green.
The standard OPPO Reno 11 is more budget-friendly, starting at CNY 2,499 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version.

The OPPO Find X7 Series, comprising the Find X7, Find X7 Pro, and Find X7 Ultra, is set to offer cutting-edge technology.
The standard Find X7 is expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, while the Find X7 Pro and Ultra models are likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
The Pro and Ultra variants are rumored to support 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, with the Ultra model boasting a 5,000mAh battery.
Additionally, the series is anticipated to feature advanced camera systems, including a 50MP main sensor and innovative photography modes.
The Find X7 Ultra is poised to be the highlight of the series, offering the same powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip as the Pro model but with a larger 5,000mAh battery.
It is expected to feature a superior camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX858 telephoto sensor, a 3x zoom Sony IMX890 sensor, and possibly a 50MP main camera with a 1-inch Sony LYT-900 sensor.
The OPPO Reno 11 starts at CNY 2,499 for its base model, while the Reno 11 Pro begins at CNY 3,499. The pricing varies depending on the RAM and storage configurations.
The OPPO Reno 11 Pro boasts a 6.74-inch curved OLED display with a resolution of 2772 x 1240 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate, offering a crisp and smooth visual experience.
The OPPO Find X7 Pro is speculated to boast a dual periscope lens setup, potentially offering up to 6x optical zoom.
The camera might include a 50MP wide camera with Sony’s LYT900 sensor. These features, still in the realm of rumours, promise to significantly enhance the photography experience.
According to leaks, the Find X7 Pro might depart from the Find X6 Pro’s design, featuring a rounded silver metal frame and a distinct hexagonal camera module.
This shift could include a soft finish or faux leather rear panel, representing a significant aesthetic evolution from the previous model.
While not confirmed, there is speculation that the Find X7 Pro could support rapid charging technologies, including 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
This implies a significant improvement in charging efficiency and possibly a larger battery capacity than the 5000mAh battery in the Find X6 Pro.
The OPPO Find X7 series, including the Find X7 and X7 Pro, is rumoured to launch either by the end of January or in early February 2024. This timing strategically places its debut before the Chinese Spring Festival, marking an early release compared to previous models.
The OPPO Find X7 is rumored to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, up to 6GB of LPDDR5T RAM, and a massive 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
The device is expected to run on Color OS 14 based on Android 14 and will likely include a high-refresh-rate 120Hz display panel.
The Find X7 Pro is anticipated to elevate the series with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and OPPO’s innovative HyperTone camera system.
These features suggest a significant enhancement in both processing power and photographic capabilities over the standard model.
The OPPO Find X7 has scored a total of 2,270,677 on the AnTuTu benchmark. This score reflects its robust performance, particularly scoring high in CPU and GPU tests, indicating the phone’s strong processing and graphics capabilities.
According to the AnTuTu listing, the OPPO Find X7 is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of internal storage. It also boasts a high-refresh-rate display and runs on the latest Android 14 OS.
The OPPO Find X7 has outperformed the Vivo X100, which also uses the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, in the AnTuTu benchmark scores. This suggests that OPPO has effectively optimized the Find X7 to leverage the chipset’s potential.
