Oppo Find X5, Find X5 Pro confirmed to be launched on Feb. 24: Expected specs and more

Oppo is all set to launch its much-awaited Find X5 series on February 24, which comes ahead of Oppo’s MWC event on February 28. Although there is no word on its India launch, there’ll be two phones in the series – Find X5 and Find X5 Pro. While Oppo has revealed what they look like and some key specifications, leaks, on the other hand, divulged a lot more about these two phones under the Find X series.

Expected specifications

The Oppo Find X5 Pro is likely to sport a 6.7-inch Quad-HD+ AMOLED display, whereas the Find X5 may come with a 6.55-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED flat display. While the Find X5 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, the Find X5 will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. The Find X5 Pro will come with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, whereas the Find X5 will max out at 12GB of RAM and 256GB of memory.

In terms of optics, the Oppo Find X5 Pro will have two 50MP Sony IMX776 sensors and a 13MP third sensor with a telephoto lens. The Find X5, on the other hand, will borrow these three cameras, but selfie cameras on both phones are said to be different. The Find X5 Pro will use a Sony IMX709 sensor, while the Find X5 is likely to come with a 32MP Sony IMX615 sensor. Both the devices will come with 80W wired charging, but their battery capacities may be different.

Meanwhile, the TENAA listings suggest the Find X5 Pro will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery, whereas the Find X5 will house a 4,800mAh battery. Interestingly, both the phones will also support wireless charging, but there is only information about the Find X5 Pro that it will feature 50W technology.
