OPPO F35 vs OPPO F35 Pro: 5 Biggest Differences at a Glance
| OPPO F35 | OPPO F35 Pro | |
| Display | 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED, 120Hz | 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED, 144Hz |
| Chipset | Dimensity 6360 MAX | Dimensity 7360 MAX |
| Rear Camera | 50MP + 2MP | 50MP OIS + 8MP ultrawide |
| Colours & Design | Wave Blue, Titanium Grey and Mist Pink | Sunrise Orange, Twilight Brown and Wave Blue |
| MAX Storage | 8GB + 128GB | 8GB + 256GB |
Difference 1: Display – 120Hz vs 144Hz
The display is one of the biggest differences between the two phones.
The OPPO F35 has a 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.07 billion colours and a 1.67mm narrow bezel.
The OPPO F35 Pro, meanwhile, gets a larger 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a faster 144Hz refresh rate. It also has 450ppi pixel density and can reach up to 3,600 nits peak brightness, according to OPPO.
In simple terms, the F35 Pro gives you a larger, sharper and smoother display.
Difference 2: Processor – Dimensity 6360 MAX vs 7360 MAX
The OPPO F35 uses the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 MAX, while the F35 Pro gets the higher-tier Dimensity 7360 MAX.
The F35 Pro’s chipset is built on a 4nm process. OPPO claims that it delivers 30% higher multi-core CPU performance and 35% higher GPU performance compared with the previous generation in its own testing. Both phones support 5G, but the F35 Pro is clearly positioned as the more powerful option.
The key differences are:
- F35: Dimensity 6360 MAX
- F35 Pro: Dimensity 7360 MAX
- F35 Pro uses a 4nm process
- Both phones support 5G
If performance is a priority, the F35 Pro is the better choice.
Difference 3: Rear Cameras – 50MP + 2MP vs 50MP OIS + 8MP
The rear camera setup is another important upgrade on the Pro model. The OPPO F35 has a 50MP main camera and a 2MP portrait camera. The F35 Pro gets a 50MP main camera with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide camera.
This gives the Pro model a more versatile camera setup. OIS should also help with keeping shots steadier, particularly when shooting in situations where camera shake is more noticeable.
What about the selfie camera?
There is less difference here. Both phones feature a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera with a 100-degree field of view. OPPO positions both models around this feature under its “Group Selfie Expert” branding.
So, while the rear cameras are a major Pro upgrade, the headline selfie camera remains the same.
Difference 4: RAM and Storage
The OPPO F35 is available in two configurations, while the F35 Pro gets three.
The biggest difference is that the F35 Pro offers up to 256GB of storage, while the F35 tops out at 128GB. If you store a lot of photos, videos, apps and other files on your phone, the 256GB Pro variant could be worth considering.
Difference 5: Design and Durability
The two phones also have different design approaches. The OPPO F35 is available in Wave Blue, Titanium Grey and Mist Pink. It has a slim vertical camera module that resembles the design seen on some recent Vivo S-series phones. The F35 Pro comes in Sunrise Orange, Twilight Brown and Wave Blue. It has a larger camera module and takes heavy inspiration from the current iPhone-style rear camera design.
The Pro model also gets OPPO’s “Damage-Proof 360° Armour Body” positioning.
Both phones have IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings, giving them strong water and dust resistance. The F35 also specifically gets IP69K water and dust resistance positioning. Phones also support Rainstorm Touch, which is designed to make the touchscreen more usable when the display is exposed to water.
OPPO F35 vs F35 Pro Battery and Charging
This is one area where there is no major difference. Both the OPPO F35 and F35 Pro pack an 8,000mAh battery and support 80W SUPERVOOC charging. OPPO officially lists the 8,000mAh battery capacity for both models. So, unlike the display, processor and rear cameras, you don’t have to pay extra for a bigger battery with the Pro.
- F35: 8,000mAh + 80W SUPERVOOC
- F35 Pro: 8,000mAh + 80W SUPERVOOC
