Oppo is gearing up to expand its mid-range smartphone lineup with the upcoming Oppo F31 series. It is expected to launch in India next month and the lineup include three models. We are expecting Oppo F31, Oppo F31 Pro and Oppo F31 Pro+, each featuring unique designs and hardware choices. Here’s what we know about the phones based on recent leaks.
Tipster Abhishek Yadav @yabhishekhd on X (formerly Twitter) shared leaked renders and specifications of the F31 models, giving the first glimpse of the upcoming lineup. Interestingly, despite being part of the same series, each model brings a different styling approach.
According to the leak, Oppo F31 Pro+ features a flat display with a circular rear camera module, powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Oppo F31 Pro, on the other hand, sports a squircle-shaped camera island and is said to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300, likely the “Energy” variant. And lastly, the standard Oppo F31 comes with a vertically stacked pill-shaped camera design and is expected to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset.

All three models are rumoured to house 7,000mAh batteries, marking a significant upgrade over the 6,500mAh battery on the F29 and the 6,000mAh unit on the F29 Pro. Charging speeds also see a bump, with the F31 and F31 Pro tipped to support 80W fast charging. While charging details for the Pro+ are not yet confirmed, Oppo could push it even higher, in line with its past flagship launches.
In terms of colour options, the leak specifies the following option –
Reports suggest that the Oppo F31 series will launch in mid-September, just ahead of India’s festive season.
Alongside the F31 series, Oppo is also reportedly preparing to introduce the Oppo A6 lineup, which includes the A6i 5G, A6 5G, A6 Pro 5G, and A6 Max 5G. According to a Chinese tech blogger on Weibo, the Oppo A6 5G and A6 Max 5G will arrive as rebranded versions of the Oppo F31 and F31 Pro+.

The Oppo A6 5G (model number PLS120) has already surfaced on China’s TENAA certification platform and has also received 3C certification, signalling an imminent launch.

As per TENAA, the A6 5G will feature a 6.57-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with an in-display fingerprint sensor, 8GB/12GB RAM options, up to 512GB storage, and a 7,000mAh battery with 80W charging support. It is also expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, just like the Oppo F31.
For cameras, the device will carry a 16MP front camera and a 50MP + 2MP dual rear camera setup. The handset will measure 8mm in thickness, weigh around 185 grams, and ship with Android 15 out of the box.
The Oppo A6 Max 5G is reportedly linked to the PLL110 model number, though more details are awaited.
Pricing details remain under wraps, but Oppo appears to be positioning this as a major refresh to strengthen its presence in the competitive mid-range smartphone market.
