OPPO has introduced the OPPO A6s Pro in China as the latest addition to its expanding A6 series lineup. The smartphone is currently available for pre-order via the company’s official website and is scheduled to go on sale in the country from April 17. Here’s everything you need to know about the new phone.
The OPPO A6s Pro starts at CNY 2,199 (approximately Rs. 30,000) for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants are priced at CNY 2,399 (around Rs. 33,000) and CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs. 37,000), respectively. The top-end model with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at CNY 2,999 (about Rs. 41,000).
The smartphone will go on sale in China starting April 17 through OPPO’s online store.
It is currently up for pre-order and is offered in three colour options, which are Good Fortune Abounds (white), Moon Shines Brightly in the Night (blue), and Soaring to Great Heights (silver).
The OPPO A6s Pro features a 6.57-inch Full-HD+ OLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,372 pixels. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 240Hz touch sampling rate, peak brightness of up to 1,400 nits, 1.07 billion colours and a pixel density of 397ppi.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max chipset with a peak clock speed of 2.4GHz. It is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. It runs on Android 16-based ColorOS 16 and supports dual Nano SIM cards.
For thermal management, the device is equipped with a vapour chamber cooling system featuring a 4,300 sq mm heat dissipation area.
For photography, the OPPO A6s Pro comes with a dual rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, autofocus, and support for up to 10x digital zoom. It is accompanied by a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. On the front, the device features a 16-megapixel camera with f/2.4 aperture for selfies and video calls. The handset supports video recording at up to 1080p at 60fps.
The smartphone packs a massive 7,000mAh battery and supports 80W SuperVOOC wired fast charging. It also features an IP69K rating for dust and water resistance making it durable for everyday use.
Additional features include a range of onboard sensors such as a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, colour temperature sensor, e-compass, accelerometer, gyroscope and an in-display optical fingerprint sensor for security. Connectivity options on the device include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, a USB Type-C port and support for multiple navigation systems including BeiDou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS.
The phone measures 158.38 x 75.15 x 8.29mm and weighs approximately 194 grams.
