The Pad 2 Pro comes with a 13.2-inch display, slightly larger than before, featuring a 3.4K resolution and a 7:5 aspect ratio. It’s still an IPS LCD panel, but now offers a smoother experience with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 900 nits brightness in high-brightness mode.
Under the hood, OnePlus has upgraded the processor to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite, replacing last year’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It’s paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage for faster performance. The tablet runs Android 15 with ColorOS 15 layered on top.
Camera hardware remains unchanged with a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera for video calls and selfies.
One of the biggest upgrades is the battery, which is now 12,140mAh. This is a big jump from the Pad Pro’s 9,510mAh. Charging stays the same at 67W, using a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port.
In terms of connectivity, the Pad 2 Pro supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC for contactless payments. For audio, it comes with eight speakers, promising a rich sound experience.
The tablet weighs 675 grams and measures 5.97mm thick. It’s slimmer than last year’s model, but a bit heavier than the 584g Pad Pro.
