OnePlus has officially launched the new OnePlus Nord CE 6 and OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite in India. The latest Nord CE series smartphones arrive with high refresh rate displays, large batteries, Android 16-based OxygenOS 16 and upgraded camera features aimed at mid-range buyers. Here’s more on both devices.

OnePlus Nord CE 6 and OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite – Price and Availability

OnePlus Nord CE 6 and OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite will be available in India via Amazon during the Summer Sale and on OnePlus’s official channels.

The sale for Nord CE 6 is scheduled to start on 8 May at 12 PM IST, while Nord CE 6 Lite will be available for purchase starting 12 May at 12 PM IST.

In terms of pricing, OnePlus Nord CE 6 price starts at ₹29,999 for the base 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, while Nord CE 6 Lite price starts at ₹20,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. OnePlus is offering an instant bank discount of Rs 2000 for both the OnePlus Nord CE 6 and Nord CE 6 Lite devices.

As for colour options, the OnePlus Nord CE 6 come in three colour options that are Fresh Blue, Lunar Pearl, and Pitch Black. On the other hands, OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite is available in Vivid Mint and Hyper Black colours.

OnePlus Nord CE 6 – Specifications

The OnePlus Nord CE 6 features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2772 × 1272 pixels. The panel offers a 450ppi pixel density, 19.6:9 aspect ratio and a 93.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. It supports adaptive refresh rates up to 144Hz with 60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz, and 144Hz modes. The display delivers 800 nits typical brightness, 1800 nits high brightness mode (HBM) and a peak brightness of 3600 nits.

It also supports 10-bit colour depth with 1.07 billion colours and 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage. Touch response goes up to 3200Hz with a dedicated Touch Reflex chip, while eye-care support includes 3840Hz PWM dimming. The screen also supports Sunburst HDR technology and uses Crystal Guard protection, which is an exclusively co-developed protective material.

It runs OxygenOS 16.0 based on Android 16 and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 paired with the Qualcomm Adreno 810 GPU. It comes with 8GB RAM featuring OnePlus RAM-Vitalization technology and supports RAM expansion up to 8GB. Storage options include 128GB and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It also features a large 33147mm² heat dissipation area for improved cooling performance.

The smartphone packs a massive 8000mAh non-removable battery with support for 80W SUPERVOOC charging and 13.5W PD charging with 55W PPS support. It also supports 27W wired reverse charging and bypass charging.

For photography, the OnePlus Nord CE 6 features a 50-megapixel main rear camera using the OmniVision OV50D40 CMOS sensor with a 1/2.88-inch sensor size and 0.61μm pixel size. There is also includes a 2-megapixel assistance camera with 1.75μm pixel size and a 3P lens setup.

The rear camera can record 4K video at 30fps, 1080p video at 60fps and 30fps, and 720p video at 60fps and 30fps. Other camera features include dual-view video recording and cinematic video capture support.

On the front, the smartphone features a 32-megapixel selfie camera using the Galaxycore GC32E2 sensor with a 1/3.1-inch sensor size, 0.7μm pixel size, and 5P lens setup.

The smartphone measures 16.25 cm in height, 7.75 cm in width, and 0.85 cm in thickness. It weighs 215g and comes with MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification. The device also offers IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.

OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite – Specifications

The OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite features a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD display with a resolution of 1080 × 2400 pixels, 391PPI pixel density, 20:9 aspect ratio and a 91.4 percent screen-to-body ratio. The display supports up to 144Hz refresh rate and up to 240Hz touch sampling rate. It offers 800 nits typical brightness and 1000 nits high brightness mode (HBM). The device also comes with IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.

The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Apex processor built on a 6nm process. It runs OxygenOS 16.0 based on Android 16 and is paired with an Arm Mali-G615 GPU clocked at 1300MHz. The phone also features a 21683mm² heat dissipation area for cooling.

It packs a large 7000mAh battery with support for 45W SUPERVOOC charging and 45W PPS charging. It also supports 10W wired reverse charging and bypass charging. OnePlus claims the device will remain “Fast and Smooth for 60 months.”

For photography, the smartphone includes a 50-megapixel main rear camera using the Omnivision OV50D40 sensor. The camera has a 1/1.56-inch sensor size, 0.61μm pixel size, 5P lens setup, 27mm equivalent focal length, f/1.8 aperture, 76-degree field of view, PDAF, autofocus support, and dual-axis electronic stabilisation. The rear setup also includes a 2-megapixel depth-assist camera with an f/2.4 aperture. An LED flash is also included, and the camera supports 1x to 10x digital zoom.

The rear camera supports 4K video recording at 30fps, 1080p video at 60fps and 30fps, and 720p video at 60fps and 30fps. EIS video recording is supported in 4K at 30fps, 1080p at 60fps and 30fps, and 720p at 60fps and 30fps. Slow-motion recording is available in 1080p at 120fps and 720p at 120fps or 240fps. Other features include time-lapse recording at 1080p 30fps, dual-view video capture, cinematic video support, and video editing tools.

The front camera supports dual-axis EIS and comes with an f/2.0 aperture. It can record 1080p videos at 30fps with retouch enabled, 720p videos at 30fps, and 1080p EIS videos at 30fps. It also supports time-lapse recording and dual-view video shooting.

Audio features include dual stereo speakers with 300 percent Ultra Volume Mode, OReality Audio, and noise cancellation support.
