The OnePlus Nord 6 has not been officially unveiled yet, but most of its key details have already surfaced online. Multiple reports suggest that the upcoming Nord device could resemble the OnePlus Turbo 6, which has already debuted in China. This approach would not be surprising as OnePlus has often reworked its China-exclusive models for global markets with slight changes.
Based on benchmark listings, leaks from tipsters, and early teasers shared by OnePlus, here’s everything we know so far about the OnePlus Nord 6.
As for the launch, early reports indicate that the OnePlus Nord 6 could debut in the first week of April 2026. April 7 is currently being tipped as a possible launch date.
While OnePlus has not officially confirmed the timeline, its ongoing teaser campaign suggests that the announcement may not be far away. India is expected to be among the first markets to get the device.

OnePlus has not fully revealed the design yet, but a recent teaser offers some clues. The teaser features an X-ray-style image of a bag containing everyday items along with the phone.
Although the device itself is not clearly visible, the visual strongly highlights a large battery silhouette. This aligns with one of the biggest leaks surrounding the device.
If the reports are accurate, the OnePlus Nord 6 could pack a massive 9,000mAh battery, potentially making it the largest battery ever seen in a OnePlus smartphone globally. The device is also expected to support 80W wired fast charging.
In terms of colours, the phone may launch in Black, Mint, and Silver options.
The OnePlus Nord 6 is widely expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. The device has already appeared on Geekbench with this processor, reportedly achieving a single-core score of around 2,040 and a multi-core score of approximately 6,520.

The chipset is said to feature a prime Cortex-X4 core clocked at 3.21GHz, along with multiple Cortex-A720 performance cores, and an Adreno 825 GPU handling graphics.
Memory configurations could include 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, along with a 12GB RAM variant offering the same storage capacity.
In real-world usage, this setup should deliver smooth multitasking, improved gaming performance, and better handling of demanding applications. Additionally, the device may include a self-developed G1 e-sports Wi-Fi chip, which is expected to enhance connectivity stability during gaming sessions.
On the software front, the phone is likely to ship with Android 16 out of the box.

The OnePlus Nord 6 is tipped to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution. While this is already competitive for its segment, the highlight could be its rumoured 165Hz refresh rate.
Although high refresh rates are now common, 165Hz is still relatively rare outside gaming-focused smartphones. It remains to be seen how noticeable the difference will be compared to 120Hz or 144Hz panels, but OnePlus could be positioning the Nord 6 as a gaming-friendly device.
There are also mentions of dedicated 165Hz gaming modes, which could appeal to users looking for smoother gameplay experiences.
In terms of cameras, the OnePlus Nord 6 may not focus heavily on versatility. The device is expected to feature a 50-megapixel primary rear camera along with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. For selfies, it could include a 16-megapixel front camera.
It appears the OnePlus Nord 6 is shaping up to be a performance-focused smartphone with a strong emphasis on battery life and gaming capabilities. It could stand out in the mid-range segment with its massive battery and high refresh rate display. In any case, we have to wait for more official updates and the final unveiling to know more about the phone.
