OnePlus has launched two new mid-range smartphones in India, the OnePlus Nord 5 and OnePlus Nord CE5 5G. Starting at Rs 24,999, these phones bring premium features like AMOLED displays, large batteries, and 50MP dual cameras to the affordable segment.
While the Nord 5 packs a high-end Snapdragon chip and advanced AI tools, the Nord CE5 5G offers a slightly toned-down experience at a more accessible price. Here’s more about both models.

The OnePlus Nord 5 is priced at Rs 31,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant. Higher-end options include 12GB + 256GB at Rs 34,999, and 12GB + 512GB at Rs 37,999. It rivals the Motorola Edge 60 Pro and Nothing Phone (3a) Pro.
Nord 5 available colours are Marble Sands, Dry Ice, and Phantom Grey.

As for OnePlus Nord CE5 5G, its price starts at Rs 24,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model, with the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants priced at Rs 26,999 and Rs 28,999 respectively. It takes on rivals like the Infinix GT 30 Pro and Nothing Phone (3a).
Nord CE5 is available in three colours including Black Infinity, Marble Mist, and Nexus Blue.
Both phones go on sale starting July 12 via OnePlus.in, Amazon, and offline retail partners. Buyers using ICICI Bank or RBL Bank credit cards can get a flat Rs 2,000 discount during the launch offer period.

It features a 6.83-inch 1.5K Swift AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, 1800 nits brightness, Ultra HDR, and Gorilla Glass 7i. It also comes with IP65-rated dust and water resistance.
Under the hood is the powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. A large 7,300mm² vapour chamber ensures consistent performance. The phone is TÜV SÜD Fluency A-rated for long-term smoothness (up to 72 months).
The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP selfie camera. It supports 4K video at 60fps and multiple modes like Nightscape, Portrait, and Long Exposure.
Battery capacity sits at 6,800mAh with support for 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, 5W reverse charging, and bypass charging for better thermal control during heavy usage.
It runs OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15 and introduces a Plus Key on the side for quick access to AI Mind Space, a smart hub for storing and accessing notes, screenshots, and other content.
The Nord 5 also packs advanced AI features, including AI Summary, AI Writing, AI VoiceScribe, and photo editing tools like unblur, object removal, and recomposition. OnePlus promises 4 major Android updates and 6 years of security patches.

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, it comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
A large 7,041mm² CryoVelocity vapour chamber helps keep temperatures in check. The display is a 6.77-inch FHD+ Fluid AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and 1,800 nits peak brightness.
Camera duties are handled by a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens, while the front gets a 16MP selfie camera. It can shoot 4K video at 60fps, just like the Nord 5.
The standout feature here is its massive 7,100mAh battery, claimed to deliver up to 2.5 days of usage, and it supports 80W fast charging.
Although it doesn’t support OnePlus’ new AI Plus Mind suite or the customisable Plus Key, it still includes AI features like webpage summarising and photo editing.
