OnePlus has added two new phones to its Ace 5 lineup in China, the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra and OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition. Both phones bring powerful specs like Dimensity 9000 series chips, large batteries, and high-refresh-rate AMOLED displays, making them strong contenders in the budget flagship space. Here’s a full look at what they offer.
The Ace 5 Racing Edition is available in a Wave White, Wild Green and Rock Black colour option. Meanwhile, the Ace 5 Ultra can be purchased in Burning Titanium, Phantom Black and Breeze Blue colours. Both models have been unveiled in multiple storage configurations.

Both models are now available for purchase in China.
As of now, the OnePlus Ace 5 series is available exclusively in China. The company has yet to confirm international availability or global launch plans.
The Ace 5 Racing Edition features a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, the Ace 5 Ultra steps it up with a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen that supports 144Hz refresh rate.

The Ultra Edition sticks to the Ace 5 series’ signature straight screen and flat-edged frame. On the back, it has a dual-camera setup with a flash, all surrounded by smooth metal edges. It comes in Burning Titanium, Phantom Black, and Breeze Blue colour options.
The Ace 5 Ultra includes a “shortcut key” on the left side that retains the classic mute/vibrate/ring toggle. However, now it also supports custom actions like One-click flash memory, One-click mute, One-click translation, One-click recording and up to 8 custom settings.
It’s powered by the Dimensity 9400+ chipset, along with a Lingxi touch chip, e-sports Wi-Fi G1 chip, and OnePlus’ own Fengchi gaming core for smoother gaming and 1% low-frame-rate drop control. The phone also includes a new “Glacier Cooling System” with a 7,300mm² VC cooling plate and a 4,000mm² back cover cooling area. It packs a 6,700mAh battery and supports 100W fast charging with bypass charging support.

Meanwhile, the Racing Edition is powered by the Dimensity 9400e chipset and also features the Fengchi gaming kernel, native 120fps gaming, and 1% low frame rate drop control. It comes with a more advanced Glacier Cooling System, boasting a total heat dissipation area of 29,772mm², including a 7,000+mm² Super VC cooling layer.
The Racing Edition has a huge 7,100mAh battery and supports 80W fast charging.
