OnePlus is gearing up to launch its Ace 5 series in China on December 26, featuring the OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro models. Following the Chinese debut, the Ace 5 model is expected to enter the global and Indian markets as the OnePlus 13R with the global launch of the OnePlus 13 series set for January 7.
Ahead of the launch, multiple leaks and the China marketing teasers have revealed almost everything about both the upcoming models. Here’s all we know about the phones.
The OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro recently appeared on China’s MIIT certification database confirming key specifications ahead of the launch. Both devices feature a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2780 x 1264 pixels and likely support a 120Hz refresh rate.
Both models also include an optical in-screen fingerprint scanner and run ColorOS 15-based Android 15.
Both models share a 16 MP front camera and a 50 MP primary rear sensor, complemented by 8 MP ultra-wide and 2 MP macro cameras. While the megapixel count is identical, it’s unclear if the Pro model will feature a different primary sensor.
Both models support Dolby Vision for an immersive viewing experience. The Ace 5 Pro also includes three microphones with AI noise-reduction technology for crystal-clear audio.
The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro is packed with gaming-focused features and has been chosen as the official competition phone for the 2025 PEL Peace Elite Professional League.
It introduces the Fengchi Game Core and the industry-first Tiangong Cooling Elite system with a Dual Ice Core VC for advanced heat dissipation.
The Pro model also includes a groundbreaking e-sports Wi-Fi G1 chip, nicknamed the “wall-penetrating king.” This chip, combined with an e-sports antenna system and a game cloud computing network, ensures lag-free performance, even in challenging environments like dormitories.
Appeared on the company’s official website, we now know both models have a flat design with flat displays and a signature circular camera island.
