The OnePlus 16 is expected to debut in China next month. The smartphone maker has already revealed the design of the phone and also confirmed its memory options. Meanwhile, a previous Geekbench listing has also pointed to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 as the processor for the upcoming flagship. Now, the latest AnTuTu result provides a closer look at the phone’s performance.
OnePlus 16 Scores More Than 5.38 Million on AnTuTu

The OnePlus 16 managed to record 5,384,433 points in AnTuTu V12. Breaking down the result, the smartphone scored 1,458,283 points in the CPU test and 2,010,584 points in the GPU test. Its memory score was 766,362, while the UX test contributed 1,149,204 points.
The result places the OnePlus 16 among the highest-performing smartphones currently listed in AnTuTu’s database.
The benchmark entry also provides details about the configuration used for testing. The phone was equipped with the 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 (SM8975) processor, 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The tested device also had a 185Hz display refresh rate and was running ColorOS 17 based on Android 17.
OnePlus is expected to offer the phone in several configurations, which includes 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, 12GB RAM with 512GB storage, 16GB RAM with 512GB storage and a top-end 16GB RAM with 1TB storage variant.
The combination of the new Snapdragon processor and high-capacity RAM and storage suggests that performance will be one of the major areas of focus for the OnePlus 16, particularly for gaming, multitasking and other resource-intensive tasks.
OnePlus 16 – What Else We Know So Far?
According to the leaks, OnePlus 16 could feature a 200-megapixel main camera with a 1/1.4-inch sensor. This could be accompanied by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
The phone is likely to arrive with a considerably larger battery as leaks point towards a 9,000mAh battery. It will support 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
The smartphone is also rumoured to use a 6.78-inch BOE X4 panel offer a 165Hz refresh rate across the system, while compatible games could take advantage of refresh rates of up to 185Hz.
The OnePlus 16 is expected to be introduced in China in October. However, its availability outside of the Chinese market remains uncertain at the moment.
