OnePlus 16 Could Get a Custom 1.5K LTPO Flat Display

As per DCS on Weibo, the upcoming OnePlus 16 is tipped to feature a 1.5K LTPO BOE X4 customised flat screen. The use of BOE X4 luminescent material is expected to improve the overall display performance with the tipster claiming that the panel will outperform Samsung M-series displays in almost all aspects.
The phone could also offer an unusually high refresh rate. While most flagship smartphones currently use 120Hz or similar refresh rates, the OnePlus 16 is tipped to have a minimum refresh rate of 185Hz. The display is also expected to have ultra-narrow bezels and use LIPO technology.
LIPO is a manufacturing and packaging process that allows manufacturers to reduce bezel size and push the display closer to the edges of the phone.
According to the tipster, the display will also consume very little power and could offer twice the lifespan compared with conventional panels.
