We have been hearing multiple rumours and leaks about the next OnePlus flagship. However, it appears we finally have the confirmed look and Chinese market launch date from official sources.

As per media reports, OnePlus has finally confirmed the launch date for the upcoming OnePlus 13.

It will be unveiled in China on October 31 at 4 PM local time.

Moreover, the Chinese manufacturer also shared the first official image of the upcoming device.

The images revealed a circular camera module with a flash in the matrix arrangement and Hasselblad branding.

According to the official images and video teaser, the OnePlus 13 will feature a flat metal frame and the signature alert slider as well.

These images teased by OnePlus also reveal that the phone will be available in three colour options that include Black, Blue and White.

OnePlus 13 Real-Life Images Surfaced in China

You will not have to wait for the launch of the OnePlus 13 to see real-life images. The phone has been recently spotted during a Chinese event ahead of its official launch.

Many tech enthusiasts on Chinese social media Weibo shared images from a recent Peacekeeper Elite 2024 event that shows the phone in the hands of participants. The phone can be seen in three colour variants: black, a dual-tone blue with a white camera island, and a white variant with a silver frame.

The real-life image reveals what official images also confirmed. The phone can be seen with flat sides, a prominent Hasselblad logo and the OnePlus logo centred on the back.

According to OnePlus China head Louis Jie, the OnePlus 13 is going to be the company’s most powerful and versatile flagship smartphone ever.

He also hinted that the phone will bring several “industry firsts”  including the second-generation BOE X2 display and a new Hasselblad imaging system.

As for other key specs rumours, the OnePlus 13 will most likely boast a 6.82-inch 2K 10-bit LTPO BOE X2 OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will also have a new local refresh rate feature.

Under the hood, the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

It is expected to be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which is also known as Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. The processor will be paired with up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.

The camera setup of the OnePlus 13 will likely include a 50MP Sony LYT-808 primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.

It will be available in three finishes—White Dawn, Blue Moment, and Obsidian & a green variant may be exclusive to the global market.

Moreover, the device is rumoured to have a 6000mAh battery supporting 100W wired fast charging.

Certain reports also suggest that the phone might have an ultrasonic fingerprint reader.

OnePlus is expected to reveal more details about the phone on October 23 ahead of the official launch.
