Apple is gearing up to unveil its AI prowess at this year’s Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC).
However, before all that can happen the much-awaited OLED iPad Pro is scheduled for a grand unveiling on May 7th.
According to renowned Apple analyst Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, the upcoming OLED iPad Pro might not feature the expected M3 chip as widely speculated.
Instead, the tablet could be equipped with the next-generation M4 chipset, positioning it as Apple’s first truly AI-powered device.
Gurman stated, “I believe Apple will position the tablet as its first truly AI-powered device — and that it will tout each new product from then on as an AI device.”
There is a chance if the report pans out, Apple can address the question of who the target audience for the next iPad Pro is, as the company aims to showcase the device’s AI capabilities as a key selling point.
In addition to the groundbreaking chipset integration, the OLED iPad Pro is anticipated to receive a significant design overhaul.
As the name suggests, the tablet will feature a OLED display.
That means you are getting deeper blacks and more vivid colours for an immersive viewing experience.
Also, it appears that the FaceTime front camera is expected to be repositioned, likely to accommodate new features or enhance video calling capabilities.
Apple is also rumoured to introduce redesigned accessories to complement the OLED iPad Pro.
The Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil are both expected to receive updates, potentially with new functionalities or improved ergonomics.
According to Gurman’s insights, the upcoming Apple Pencil may introduce haptic feedback.
While the specifics of Apple’s implementation remain unknown, haptic feedback could provide users with a more intuitive and tactile, almost mimicking a real pen on paper.
Guess we’ll have to wait one week to find out for sure.
The OLED iPad Pro is rumoured to include Apple’s next-generation M4 chipset, marking it as a significant advancement in AI technology integration within Apple devices.
With an OLED display, users can expect deeper blacks and more vibrant colours, offering a more immersive and visually striking viewing experience ideal for creative and professional work.
Apple is expected to introduce redesigned versions of the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil, potentially incorporating new features that enhance user interactivity and ergonomic comfort.
Haptic feedback in the Apple Pencil could mimic the sensation of using a real pen on paper, providing tactile responses that enhance the drawing and writing experience.
Apple is set to unveil the OLED iPad Pro on May 7th, with the device expected to showcase significant advancements in both hardware and AI capabilities.
