Nubia has introduced its latest foldable duo in Japan. The brand has unveiled the clamshell-style Nubia Flip3 and the company’s first book-style foldable, the Nubia Fold.
While the announcement has been made, the Flip3 will only go on sale in mid-January 2026 with pricing details to be revealed later. As for the Nubia Fold, it will reportedly be available in Japan starting December 4. Here’s everything we know about the models as of now.

The Nubia Flip3 is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7400X chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It features a 6.9-inch flexible inner display with Full-HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, along with a 4-inch AMOLED cover screen.
For photography, the phone offers a dual-camera setup at the back comprising a 50MP primary sensor and a 12MP ultrawide lens, while the front houses a 32MP selfie camera.

A 4,610mAh battery powers the Flip3, and the device also includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and an IP54 rating. It weighs 187g and measures 7.5mm in thickness when unfolded.
The smartphone ships with Android 15 out of the box and will be available in Black and White colour options.

Alongside the Flip3, Nubia has also launched the Nubia Fold. This model is now listed by Japanese telecom operator Y!mobile with full specifications and pricing.
The book-style foldable features an 8-inch internal display with a 2,480 × 2,200 resolution, accompanied by a 6.5-inch cover screen offering 2,748 × 1,172 resolution. Both displays support a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and the main screen includes split-view functionality for supported apps.

The nubia Fold measures 144 × 160 × 5.4mm when open and 11.1mm thick when folded, with a weight of 249g. It runs on last year’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor along with 12GB of RAM and 265GB of internal storage. It ships with Android 15.
The device also offers IP54 dust and water resistance.

In the camera department, the nubia Fold packs a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 5MP macro lens. The foldable includes two 20MP selfie cameras, one on the inner display and another on the cover screen. Powering the device is a sizable 6,560mAh battery with support for 55W fast charging.
The Nubia Fold is offered in a single black variant and is priced at JPY 178,560, which is roughly $1,145. It will be available in Japan starting December 4 and is expected to expand to other markets in 2026.
