Jio has made it easier for users on affordable plans to enjoy unlimited 5G data with a new annual voucher priced at Rs 601. This Jio True 5G gift voucher offers unlimited 5G data for 12 months and you can even gift it to a friend or family member via the My Jio app.
Here’s everything you need to know about the plan.
Here’s how it works.
To activate the voucher, the recipient must already be on a monthly or quarterly plan with at least 1.5 GB of 4G data per day. Unfortunately, it won’t work with plans offering only 1 GB of daily data or with Jio’s Rs 1,899 annual recharge plan.
The Rs 601 voucher includes 12 5G upgrade vouchers, redeemable through the My Jio app. Once activated, users get unlimited 5G data alongside 3 GB of daily 4G data. The validity of the voucher depends on the base plan’s duration, capped at a maximum of 30 days.
The voucher is compatible with popular recharge plans like Rs 199, Rs 239, Rs 299, Rs 319, Rs 329, Rs 579, Rs 666, Rs 769, and Rs 899.
For those looking for shorter durations, Jio also offers other 5G vouchers priced at Rs 51 (1-month validity), Rs 101 (2-month validity) and Rs 151 (3-month validity).
Before gifting this plan, ensure the recipient’s base plan meets the eligibility criteria to maximize its benefits.
