The Nothing Phone (3a) series is here, bringing upgrades over last year’s Phone (2a) and Phone (2a) Plus. This time, Nothing has introduced a ‘Pro’ model for the first time in the lineup.
A major design change with the Nothing Phone (3a) series is the introduction of a new ‘Essential’ button. This button is located at the bottom right and lets users capture and send content to Essential Space, record a voice note instantly and access saved content directly.
Essential Space is a new AI-powered hub where users can organise notes, ideas and inspirations. Early access will be available to all Phone (3a) series buyers.
Another major change in the Nothing Phone (3a) is the addition of a telephoto lens to its triple-camera setup. The design remains familiar with the tri-light Glyph Interface and a pill-shaped camera module.
Meanwhile, the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro also features a triple-camera setup, but with a periscope lens for even better zoom capabilities.
Both phones come with TrueLens Engine 3.0, which uses AI tone mapping and scene detection to deliver what Nothing calls “professional-grade, true-to-life photography.” They also feature Ultra XDR, a display and imaging technology co-developed with Google, designed to produce vivid and real looking images.
