Currently, the Phone 2a is sold in India in just black and white colours. However, in select countries, a third “milk” option is also available.
Nothing is also running a contest allowing its community to design a special Phone 2a edition due for release later this year.
The winners of the first stage hardware design contest have been announced, with Kenta and Astrid’s “Phosphorescence” concept beating over 400 entries.
The architectural duo now has a chance to collaborate closely with Nothing’s design and R&D teams to create a Phone 2a Community Edition.
The final product’s wallpapers, packaging, and marketing will also be chosen from community ideas through separate contests in May, June, and July respectively.
At a starting price of Rs 19,999, the Phone 2a is Nothing’s most affordable smartphone yet.
Despite its affordability, it delivers a compelling package with a unique design, distinct software experience, great cameras and impressive battery life.
While raw performance lags behind rivals like the OnePlus Nord CE 4, Nothing scores high on overall value.
