Nothing is reportedly gearing up to expand its over-ear audio portfolio with a new and more affordable model called the Nothing Headphone (a). New leaks give us hints at possible aggressive pricing, multiple colour choices and a global rollout date. As of now, details around features and hardware remain scarce for now.
Nothing Headphone (a) – Pricing and Colour Options Tipped
According to a report by Dealabs, the Nothing Headphone (a) will be positioned as a cheaper alternative to the company’s premium Headphone 1.
The report claims the headphones will debut in Europe and other international markets with an official launch tipped for March 12. Pre-orders are said to open earlier on March 5, alongside the formal announcement.
In terms of pricing, the Nothing Headphone (a) is expected to cost EUR 159 (roughly Rs. 17,300) in Europe and GBP 149 (roughly Rs. 18,700) in the UK. This would make it significantly more affordable than the Nothing Headphone 1, which launched at EUR 299 (around Rs. 32,500). In India, the Headphone 1 was introduced in July 2025 at a price of Rs. 21,990.
The headphones are expected to launch in four colour variants, which are Black, Pink, White, and Yellow. If true, users will have a more visual choice with the new headphones than the existing model.
Nothing’s New Affordable Headphones – What Else We Know?

Earlier speculation suggested that the Nothing Headphone (a) could be a rebranded version of the Headphone 1 with a plastic build. However, the sizeable price gap now makes that unlikely.
While official specifications are still unknown, the lower pricing indicates that the Headphone (a) may offer fewer features compared to the flagship model.
For reference, the Nothing Headphone 1 features an over-ear design with a transparent body and physical tactile controls. It comes with 40mm dynamic drivers, supports up to 42dB active noise cancellation along with a transparency mode, and is tuned by KEF. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.3 with AAC, SBC, and LDAC codec support, dual-device pairing, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The headphones are rated to deliver up to 80 hours of battery life without ANC and also support fast charging.
Nothing has not yet officially confirmed the Headphone (a) or its launch schedule.
