After launching a number of smartphones this year, HMD Global, home of Nokia phones, is planning to unveil a new smartphone with a rugged look.

However, the company is yet to come up with the details of the upcoming smartphone. Ahead of that, a new report by WinFuture.de indicates the leaked design, specifications, and price of the Nokia XR30.

The smartphone was earlier touted to be the Nokia Sentry 5G. However, as per the report, it may now be launched under the name Nokia XR or XR30. In 2022, HMD Global’s roadmap featured the Nokia “Sentry 5G,” which was inadvertently revealed in a manufacturer’s presentation on YouTube, which also had some key details. Take a look at the leaked information related to the upcoming Nokia smartphone.

Nokia introduced its rugged smartphone, the Nokia XR20 back in July 2021. This new handset from Nokia arrived with a 6.67-inch display, an octa-core Snapdragon 480 5G chipset, and had a 48MP dual-camera setup.

The phone even has an IP68 rating and its also MIL-STD-810H compliant. Now, it looks like the company is prepping up to introduce the successor to the Nokia XR20 in the form of the Nokia XR30. To recall, this upcoming smartphone was referred to as Nokia Sentry 5G, which may arrive in the market with the Nokia XR30 moniker.

While the device’s launch date is yet to be revealed, its specifications and renders are leaked courtesy of Winfuture.de.

The Nokia XR30 rugged smartphone might be launched for $499 (Rs 40,820). And it will likely come in two colour options – Green and Black. However, the company has not officially disclosed any information about the upcoming smartphone.

Design: In the official marketing pictures, it can be seen that the upcoming phone has a rugged look, which hints at a tougher body. On the back, you can see the camera module, which has two camera sensors and a flash, and you can also see the letters “XR” there.

Cameras: In terms of cameras, the upcoming Nokia XR30 will sport a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 64MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. On the front, it will house a 16MP selfie camera.

Battery: The Nokia XR30 will pack a 4,600mAh battery with 33W fast charging support, as per the report.
