After launching a number of smartphones this year, HMD Global, home of Nokia phones, is planning to unveil a new smartphone with a rugged look.

However, the company is yet to come up with the details of the upcoming smartphone. Ahead of that, a new report by WinFuture.de indicates the leaked design, specifications, and price of the Nokia XR30.

The smartphone was earlier touted to be the Nokia Sentry 5G. However, as per the report, it may now be launched under the name Nokia XR or XR30. In 2022, HMD Global’s roadmap featured the Nokia “Sentry 5G,” which was inadvertently revealed in a manufacturer’s presentation on YouTube, which also had some key details. Nokia introduced its rugged smartphone, the Nokia XR20 back in July 2021. This new handset from Nokia arrived with a 6.67-inch display, an octa-core Snapdragon 480 5G chipset, and had a 48MP dual-camera setup.

The phone even has an IP68 rating and its also MIL-STD-810H compliant. Now, it looks like the company is prepping up to introduce the successor to the Nokia XR20 in the form of the Nokia XR30.
