February is on the way and so is the new release calendar of streaming platforms. Let’s see what Prime Video has in store for us.

In addition to the star-studded “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” reboot that we will discuss later, Prime Video’s exclusive February lineup features some exciting films.

Camila Mendes takes the lead in “Upgraded,” a romantic comedy set in the art world, where love unfolds after an unexpected upgrade to first class.

“This Is Me… Now: A Love Story” is an unconventional musical with Jennifer Lopez playing herself, joined by an ensemble cast including Ben Affleck, Fat Joe, Trevor Noah, and more.

Donald Glover and Maya Erskine join forces in the upcoming series “Mr. & Mrs. Smith,” a modern reboot of the 2005 blockbuster starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

Departing from the original plot, this titular duo isn’t married but is well aware of each other’s true spy professions.

Recruited by an agency, they masquerade as a couple in New York City.

In classic rom-com style, a fortune teller predicts that the next five dates will unlock not only her romantic but also her professional life. Can she decipher the signs in her tea leaves and find love?

The premise — a high school sex comedy mixed with… Fight Club!?!? — is truly deranged, but it somehow works as two teenage lesbians start a brutal women’s self-defense club to give them the tools to beat up the football team.

When life gives you a string of hunks, make your own version of Lemonade? I’m not sure that makes any sense, but I’m not sure Jennifer Lopez’s new art project, This is Me… Now: A Love Story, does either.

Is it a visual album like Beyoncé’s Lemonade? Is it a romantically infused musical with homages to classics like Singing in the Rain? Is it a sci-fi allegory set in a Steampunk world about the struggles of the proletariat? It appears to be all of those, according to the trailer, under the guise of Lopez’s journey through love.

Another movie previously buried on smaller streaming services (MGM+, Paramount+), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is one of the better family-friendly films of the last few years.

It most closely resembles the Spider-Verse films, not just in its animation style, but in its urban authenticity, as it follows the heroes in a half shell in their younger years as they crawl out of the New York City sewers and take on an army of mutants.
