Netflix is making offline viewing much more convenient for Apple users, especially those who love binge-watching on the go. The popular streaming app has introduced a long-awaited feature for iPhone and iPad users, making it easier to download entire TV seasons with just one tap.
Introducing the new feature, Netflix wrote in a blog, “Today, we’re adding a much-requested Season Download button for all iPhone and iPad users. This feature, which Android users already know and love, allows you to download every episode in a season with just one tap.”
Here’s everything you need to know about the feature.
Downloading a full season of a show on Netflix’s iOS app until now was a tedious process and required users to download each episode individually. With this new update called Season Download Button, iPhone and iPad users can now download an entire season at once, saving time and effort.
This feature was first launched for Android users back in 2021 and after more than three years, it’s finally available on iOS devices.
Netflix explained in the blog post that the Download Season button is placed next to the Share button on a show’s display page. Once downloaded, users can manage each episode separately in the My Downloads section under the My Profile tab.
Here’s how you can use the new feature to download an entire season at once –
This update comes shortly after Netflix raised subscription prices in the US, Canada, Argentina and Portugal.
However, prices in India remain unchanged. The streaming service starts at ₹149 per month for the Mobile plan, ₹199 for the Basic plan, ₹499 for the Standard plan and ₹649 for the Premium plan.
