The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion, which holds the distinction of being India’s first smartphone powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, has become more expensive across all variants.

The base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, which was originally priced at ₹20,999, will now be available for ₹21,999. Similarly, the 8GB + 256GB variant has seen its price rise from ₹22,999 to ₹23,999. The top-end 12GB RAM variant, which was launched at ₹24,999, will now cost ₹25,999.

The smartphone is currently available for purchase via Motorola’s official website, Amazon, and offline retail stores.

It is worth noting that the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion was recently launched in India at a starting price of ₹26,999, which is ₹5,000 higher than the updated price of the Edge 60 Fusion.

The 12GB + 256GB variant of the Edge 70 Fusion is priced at ₹32,999, making it ₹7,000 more expensive than the corresponding Edge 60 Fusion variant priced at ₹25,999. Due to this noticeable price gap, the Edge 60 Fusion continues to remain a strong value-for-money option, especially with ongoing discount offers across online platforms.

Moto G Series Also Gets Price Revision

Motorola has also revised prices for its budget smartphones including the Moto G35, Moto G57 Power, and Moto G96.

The Moto G35 will now cost ₹12,999 for the 4GB + 128GB variant, up from ₹11,999. Its 6GB + 128GB variant will see a price increase from ₹12,999 to ₹13,999.

The Moto G57 Power, available in a single 8GB + 128GB configuration, will now be priced at ₹15,999, up from ₹14,999.

Meanwhile, the Moto G96 will also see a hike. The 8GB + 128GB variant will increase from ₹18,999 to ₹19,999, while the 8GB + 256GB model will now cost ₹20,999 instead of ₹19,999.

Reason Behind the Price Hike

The price increase is attributed to rising component costs and ongoing market trends, where several smartphone brands have been gradually increasing prices across segments.

With this move, Motorola joins other manufacturers adjusting pricing strategies in response to increasing production costs and shifting market dynamics.
