The upcoming Motorola Razr 70 is expected to debut in China later this month or sometime in early April, before eventually rolling out to global markets. The Motorola phone has now reportedly appeared on China’s 3C certification database, suggesting that its official launch could be getting closer. The latest certification listing also hints at a small upgrade in the phone’s charging speed compared to its predecessor. Here are more details.

According to a post shared by tech blogger Anvin @ZionsAnvin on X, the Motorola Razr 70 carrying the model number XT2657-2 has been spotted on the 3C certification website.
The listing suggests that the handset could support 33W wired fast charging. This represents a slight improvement over the 30W charging support offered on the Motorola Razr 60.
Before appearing on the 3C platform, the device had also been listed on China’s TENAA certification database as well as the UAE’s TDRA database. These listings revealed several important specifications of the upcoming foldable.

The TENAA listing indicates that the Motorola Razr 70 could retain many of the hardware features seen on its predecessor. The smartphone is said to include a rated 4,275mAh dual-cell battery, which may translate to a typical capacity of around 4,500mAh, similar to the Razr 60.
Motorola Razr 70 – What Else We Know?
The upcoming Motorola clamshell foldable device is expected to feature a 6.9-inch full-HD+ OLED main display with a resolution of 1,080 × 2,640 pixels. It could also include a 3.63-inch cover display offering a resolution of 1056 × 1066 pixels. The TENAA listing also suggests that the foldable phone will include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
For photography, the Motorola Razr 70 is listed with a dual rear camera system consisting of two 50-megapixel sensors. This would be a change from the Razr 60, which featured a combination of a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens.
