Motorola has officially launched the Razr 60 Ultra in India, and it’s packed with improvements over the Razr 50 Ultra. This is Motorola’s latest foldable phone and it’s also the first foldable to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

The company says the hinge design has been improved for better durability and less screen creasing. Plus, the phone now includes Moto AI features and a dedicated AI Key for quick access to smart tools.

Motorola Razr 60 Ultra – Key Features

The Razr 60 Ultra features a 7-inch Super HD LTPO AMOLED inner display with a 165Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. On the outside, there’s a 4-inch flexible AMOLED cover screen with 1,272 x 1,080 resolution, the same 165Hz refresh rate, and up to 3,000 nits brightness. Both displays are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic and support Dolby Vision.

Under the hood, it runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor paired with the Adreno GPU, 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It comes with Android 15 out of the box and will receive three years of OS updates and four years of security patches. Some of the new Moto AI features include “AI Image Studio,” “Catch Me Up,” and “Remember This.”

Camera-wise, you get a 50MP main sensor with OIS and f/1.8 aperture, a 50MP ultra-wide lens that also supports macro photography and a 50MP front camera for selfies, which is a notable upgrade over the 32MP front sensor on the previous model.

The phone is backed by a 4,700mAh battery and supports 68W fast wired charging, 30W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging. Other features include 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, USB Type-C, NFC, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

It also has an IP48 rating for water and dust resistance.

Compared to the predecessor Razr 50 Ultra, the Razr 60 Ultra gets several upgrades.

The biggest change is the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, replacing the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. The inner display has increased from 6.9 inches to 7 inches and you now get tougher Gorilla Glass Ceramic protection.

The camera setup also sees a change with a 50MP wide-angle lens instead of a telephoto one and a new 50MP front camera. However, there seems to be a discrepancy in the battery, the Razr 60 Ultra is said to have a 4,700mAh battery, which is actually higher than the 4,000mAh capacity listed for the Razr 50 Ultra.
