Motorola seems to be pushing harder to compete with the already leading series of Galaxy Z Flip.
Newly leaked live photos of the upcoming Motorola Razr 50 on the Chinese TENAA certification website revealed what Motorola had in store.
According to leaked pictures, the Razr 50 is here to level up the Motorola folding game.
The new Razr 50 gets a larger 6.9-inch pOLED internal display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a whopping 3.6-inch Quick View external display, suggesting versatility and immersion.
While the leaked information does not specifically state the exact chipset used in the Razr 50, there is a rumour that it may be powered by a mid-range Dimensity 7300X processor.
At the same time, the gadget is likely to be at the forefront in terms of RAM and storage options, from 8GB to 16GB of RAM, and from 128GB to 1TB of storage.
The Razr 50 is apparently set to be a capable imaging companion with its dual camera setup that includes a 50MP primary sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide lens.
It will also have a 32MP front-facing camera, making it suitable for selfie enthusiasts and video callers.
Keeping things lit will be a 3,950mAh battery, while a side-mounted fingerprint scanner should provide secure biometric authentication.
Keeping the lights on will be a 3,950mAh battery, while a side-mounted fingerprint scanner is expected to provide secure biometric authentication.
As a matter of fact, while the leaked photos and specifications for the normal Razr 50 have been coming out, Motorola is also said to be preparing a higher-end variant: the Razr 50 Ultra.
It’s rumoured to have a high-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU, faster 33W charging, and an even bigger 4-inch Quick View external display.
That would make Motorola’s Razr 50 series a credible challenger to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip flagship lineup as the foldable market continues to develop.
