Motorola has officially launched its latest addition to the Edge lineup, the Motorola Edge 70, for global markets. This launch comes just days after the same device made its debut in China as the Moto X70 Air. The smartphone stands out for its ultra-slim 5.99mm profile and lightweight 159g body, making it one of the sleekest models in Motorola’s portfolio. The smartphone is priced at €799 (approx. USD 917 / Rs. 81,310) or £700 in the UK.
It has already started rolling out in the UK and will expand to several European and Middle Eastern countries this week. Motorola also confirmed that the device will reach select global markets in the coming months.
The Motorola Edge 70 features a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 10-bit colour depth, offering up to 4,500 nits peak brightness. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, ensuring durability. The device runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 (4nm) chipset paired with an Adreno 722 GPU, delivering efficient and smooth performance. It comes equipped with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of internal storage, running on Android 16 out of the box.

For photography, the smartphone sports a 50MP main sensor with OIS and a 50MP ultra-wide lens offering a 120º field of view. On the front, it houses another 50MP camera for detailed selfies and video calls. The Edge 70 also supports up to 4K video recording at 30fps.
In terms of design and durability, the handset boasts a metal frame with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, as well as MIL-STD-810H military-grade toughness. Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC. It also features stereo speakers tuned with Dolby Atmos for an immersive audio experience.
Powering the device is a 4,800mAh Silicon-Carbon battery, which supports 68W TurboPower fast charging and 15W wireless charging, ensuring quick and flexible power-ups.
