Motorola has officially confirmed that the upcoming Motorola Edge 70 Fusion will be showcased at MWC 2026, which kicks off on March 2. However, Indian consumers won’t have to wait that long, as the brand has already teased a February 28 reveal in India,
A dedicated microsite for the device recently went live on Flipkart, confirming its availability via the online retail platform. The page has now been updated with key specifications, colour options, and other major details about the smartphone. Here’s what we know about the model based on that.
As per the updated microsite, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion will launch in India in three Pantone-curated colourways. These are named Silhouette, Blue Surf, and Country Air.
All three variants are said to feature a “leather-inspired” finish on the rear panel, giving the device a premium textured look.
For photography, the smartphone is teased to pack a triple rear camera setup. Motorola claims that the Edge 70 Fusion will be the world’s first handset to feature the 50-megapixel Sony LYT-710 primary sensor. The main camera will be accompanied by a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens and an additional macro camera, although details about the macro sensor remain unspecified.
On the front, the phone will sport a 32-megapixel selfie camera capable of recording videos in up to 4K resolution.
The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion will feature a quad-curved 1.5K display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The panel is claimed to deliver up to 5,200 nits of peak brightness, SGS eye protection certification, a 96.2 per cent screen-to-body ratio, and HDR10+ support.
Additionally, the device will support Smart Water Touch 3.0, allowing users to operate the screen even with wet or damp fingers.

Under the hood, the smartphone will house a massive 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 68W wired fast charging. The handset is listed as measuring 7.99mm in thickness.
A recent report also suggests that the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion will carry IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. Based on the launch date confirmation teaser, we know that the device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset.
