The Moto G96 5G has officially launched in India offering a premium design and solid specs at a mid-range price. It features a 6.67-inch curved pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, backed by a large 5,500mAh battery with 68W fast charging. The Moto G96 5G is priced at ₹17,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant and ₹19,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model. It comes in four stylish Pantone-curated colour options, which are Ashleigh Blue, Dresden Blue, Cattleya Orchid, and Greener Pastures.
The phone will be available for purchase starting July 16 on Flipkart and the Motorola India website.
The phone sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ 10-bit curved pOLED display with HDR10+, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. It offers up to 1600 nits peak brightness and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The display also supports water touch technology, making it responsive even with wet fingers.
The body features a vegan leather finish for a premium feel, and the phone is IP68-rated for dust and water resistance.
Under the hood, the Moto G96 5G is powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 (4nm) processor with Adreno 710 GPU, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 2.2 storage. It runs Android 15, and Motorola promises 3 major OS updates and 4 years of security updates.
The rear camera setup includes a 50MP Sony LYT-700C primary sensor with OIS, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens with macro support. On the front, there’s a 32MP selfie camera with Quad Pixel technology and 4K recording support.
The device features stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, USB Type-C audio, and supports Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, GPS, and a wide range of 5G and 4G bands. It also includes an in-display fingerprint scanner for quick unlocking.
A 5,500mAh battery powers the phone, and it supports 68W TurboPower fast charging, ensuring quick top-ups and all-day usage.
