The Maruti Suzuki Fronx has become the fastest car in India to reach the sales milestone of 2,00,000 units. Launched in April 2023, the car managed to achieve this remarkable feat in just 17.3 months
Apart from key city markets including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Kochi and Bengaluru, this compact SUV has quickly gained popularity in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities.
The Fronx saw its first 1,00,000 units sold within 10 months of its release.
The second 1,00,000 units recorded even faster movement selling in the next 7.3 months. This superb growth rate highlights how the vehicle has gained a good word and strong demand in the Indian market.

The Maruti Suzuki Fronx is priced between Rs 7,51,500 and Rs 13,03,500 (ex-showroom).
This price makes it a competitive option in the sub-4 metre SUV segment. Its main rivals include the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300 and Kia Sonet.

The 1.2-litre engine is available with either a 5-speed manual transmission (MT) or a 5-speed automatic manual transmission (AMT). Meanwhile, the 1.0-litre engine can be paired with a 5-speed MT or a 6-speed automatic transmission (AT).
Moreover, there is a CNG variant with the 1.2-litre engine. This variant produces 77.5PS of power and 98.5Nm of torque mated to a 5-speed MT.
The Fronx delivers impressive fuel efficiency as well. The 1.2 MT offers 21.79 kmpl, the 1.2 AMT provides 22.89 kmpl, the 1.0 MT giving 21.5 kmpl and the 1.0 AT achieving 20.01 kmpl.
The CNG version leads the pack with 28.51 kmpl.
