Lenovo has just launched its newest ChromeOS laptop, the Chromebook Plus 14. This one comes with some impressive features. It is the first Chromebook ever to offer Dolby Atmos-tuned speakers, along with a vibrant OLED display for a more immersive experience. Here’s more about the newly launched Chromebook.

The Chromebook Plus 14 features a 14-inch touchscreen display with a WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200) and a 60Hz refresh rate. The OLED panel promises rich colours and sharp visuals. To go along with the display, Lenovo has packed in four 2W speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos, making it stand out as the first Chromebook with such an audio setup.
Inside, the laptop is powered by the MediaTek Kompanio Ultra 910 chipset, paired with ARM Mali G52 graphics and an NPU delivering up to 50 TOPS of AI performance. You get up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS storage, offering smooth performance for everyday tasks.
It runs ChromeOS out of the box and comes with a decent set of ports, which include 1x USB-A 3.2, 2x USB-C 3.2 with DisplayPort support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, plus WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for wireless connectivity.
Lenovo claims you’ll get up to 12 hours of battery life on a full charge. The device has an aluminium build, weighs around 1.25kg, and is designed for users who want a light yet powerful Chromebook.
The Chromebook Plus 14 starts at $649.99 and is now available via Lenovo’s official website. This launch comes shortly after the company also unveiled its Lenovo Xiaoxin desktop PC.
