Lava has officially launched the Lava Shark 5G, its newest budget smartphone under the Shark series. Priced at just Rs. 7,999, this phone is designed to bring 5G connectivity to the affordable segment without compromising on features.

The Shark 5G sports a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, offering a smooth viewing experience. It runs on the UNISOC T765 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and an additional 4GB of virtual RAM through RAM expansion. It also runs on clean Android 15 with no bloatware.

According to Lava, the phone has a stylish glossy back that “complements its bold performance” and is made for users who want good looks with solid performance.

For photography, the Shark 5G comes with a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. Powering the device is a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging, although you get a 10W charger in the box.
