itel has launched a new budget 5G smartphone named the itel Zeno 5G in India. It is priced at Rs 9,299 including a Rs 1,000 Amazon coupon. Following the earlier release of the Zeno 10, this new model brings 5G connectivity, a smooth display and AI-powered features, all at a wallet-friendly price. The itel Zeno 5G features a 6.67-inch HD+ punch-hole display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate, offering a smooth and responsive user experience. It has a slim 7.8mm profile with a matte finish, giving it a modern and sleek look.
The phone is also IP54-rated, making it resistant to dust and water, and it comes with Panda MN228 glass to protect the screen from scratches and damage.
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, the Zeno 5G is paired with 8GB RAM (4GB physical + 4GB virtual) and 128GB of internal storage. It runs Android 14 out of the box.
On the camera front, it offers a 50MP AI Super HDR rear camera and an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
The phone comes with a 5,000mAh battery and includes a 10W charger. While the charging may be basic, the battery should comfortably last a full day for most users.
