Chinese smartphone brand iQOO is gearing up to launch its latest affordable flagship, the Z9 Turbo, in its home market this month.
Ahead of the official unveiling, the company has shared new images and details, providing a glimpse of what to expect from this powerful mid-range offering.
iQOO Z9 Turbo: Expected Specs and Design
The leaked images showcase the Z9 Turbo’s sleek design, featuring flat edges and a squarish camera module housing dual rear cameras.
One of the lenses is confirmed to offer OIS for improved low-light photography and video recording.
A dual-LED flash completes the rear camera setup.
Under the hood, iQOO has revealed that the Z9 Turbo will be among the first batch of smartphones powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
This capable processor promises flagship-level performance while being a more affordable alternative to the top-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
To keep the lights on, the iQOO Z9 Turbo packs a massive 6,000mAh battery, which should translate into impressive battery life.
The device is also expected to support 80W fast charging for quick top-ups when needed.
Advanced Cooling and Graphics
Catering to mobile gamers and power users, the Z9 Turbo will feature an independent graphics chip and a 6K vapor chamber cooling system to dissipate heat efficiently during intense workloads.
According to reports, the iQOO Z9 Turbo could sport a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate.
Camera-wise, it may include a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 16MP front-facing camera.
Memory configurations could top out at 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.
Pricing and availability details remain under wraps for now, but iQOO’s track record suggests the Z9 Turbo will be competitively priced to take on rivals like Xiaomi’s Redmi and Realme’s GT series in the affordable flagship segment.
