iQOO Pad Ultra is expected to launch alongside the iQOO 16 later this month in China. Previous leaks have revealed some specifications of the iQOO Pad Ultra including its Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset. And now, the upcoming flagship tablet has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, which has confirmed details such as the chipset and RAM.
iQOO Pad Ultra Geekbench Details
An iQOO device with the model number vivo iPA2691 has appeared on Geekbench. Previous reports have associated this model number with the iQOO Pad Ultra.
The listing shows the tablet using a Snapdragon SM8975 chipset, which is the model number associated with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6. This suggests that the iQOO Pad Ultra will be powered by Qualcomm’s next-generation flagship processor. Qualcomm is expected to officially announce the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 alongside the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro later this month at the Snapdragon Summit.
The Geekbench listing also shows benchmark scores of 1,754 points in the single-core test and 6,661 points in the multi-core test. These numbers are lower than the expected performance of the upcoming Qualcomm chipset. However, the tablet listed on Geekbench could be an early prototype, so these scores should be viewed with caution.
More importantly, the benchmark listing confirms a 16GB RAM variant of the iQOO Pad Ultra. This could be the tablet’s highest RAM configuration, although iQOO may also launch a 12GB RAM variant in China.
iQOO Pad Ultra – Specifications
The iQOO Pad Ultra is expected to feature an 8.8-inch display and is said to have a slim and lightweight design. It reportedly measures just 5.74mm in thickness and weighing 298 grams.
The tablet is also expected to feature an OLED panel with a centred single hole-punch camera and narrow bezels on all sides. Its design is tipped to include a square Deco camera section along with an air vent.
iQOO has already confirmed a built-in cooling fan measuring 30 × 30 × 3.5mm. The fan covers a 1,661mm² heat dissipation area, can spin at up to 14,500rpm and provides 0.94 CFM of airflow. The cooling system is designed to help prevent performance throttling during long gaming sessions.
The iQOO Pad Ultra is expected to feature a battery with a capacity in the 9,000mAh range.
iQOO is also preparing two dedicated accessories for the tablet. The first is a stretchable game controller featuring its own USB-C port, micro-switches and a Hall-effect joystick designed to offer better precision. The second accessory is a back grip designed to make the tablet more comfortable to hold during longer gaming sessions.
The tablet is currently tipped to be available in Shadow Black and Star Silver colour options.
iQOO Pad Ultra Launch Timeline
The iQOO Pad Ultra is widely expected to launch alongside the iQOO 16 later this month in China. However, its complete specifications and pricing have not yet been officially announced.
Pad Ultra could remain a China-only model since no global launch plans have been confirmed yet. More information is expected to emerge as the launch date approaches.
