A new leak has revealed battery details of the upcoming iQOO 16, iQOO Neo 12, and iQOO Z12 Turbo smartphones. According to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, iQOO is reportedly planning a major upgrade in battery capacity across its next-generation flagship and performance-focused smartphones. iQOO 16, Neo 12 and Z12 Turbo Battery Details Leaked

As per the tipster post, the upcoming iQOO 16 is currently being tested with a massive 8,500mAh battery. The smartphone is also expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset. The engineering prototype is said to support 100W fast charging as well as wireless charging.
The tipster further claims that iQOO’s next-generation 3nm performance series, which is believed to include the iQOO Neo 12 and iQOO Z12 Turbo, is being tested with even larger batteries. According to the leak, one prototype features a 9,000mAh battery, while another is equipped with a 10,000mAh high-silicon single-cell battery.
Notably, the tipster had recently shared key specifications of the iQOO 16 including its battery details. In the latest leak, the same source has also revealed the expected battery capacities of the iQOO Neo 12 and iQOO Z12 Turbo.
iQOO Neo 12 – Expected Specifications
Previous reports suggest that the iQOO Neo 12 could feature a 6.83-inch flat OLED display with 2K resolution and a 185Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and may also include a dedicated graphics chip to improve gaming performance.
The handset is tipped to support 100W fast charging, while other expected features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner and top-tier water resistance.
iQOO Z12 Turbo – What to Expect?
At the moment, there are no confirmed details regarding the specifications of the iQOO Z12 Turbo. However, considering that its predecessor was powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, the upcoming model is expected to feature Qualcomm’s next-generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 6 processor, which is believed to be built on a 3nm manufacturing process.
While iQOO has not officially confirmed any of these details, the latest leak indicates that the company could be preparing a significant battery upgrade for its upcoming flagship and performance-oriented smartphones.
