iQOO has announced a new colour option for its flagship iQOO 15 in India. The smartphone, which was originally launched in November last year, will soon be available in a fresh Apex colour variant. This will expand the model lineup beyond the existing Legend and Alpha colour options. Here are more details.
The newly introduced Apex colour variant of the iQOO 15 will be available for pre-order in India starting April 1. Interested buyers can place their orders via Amazon.
This new variant features a distinctive patterned design on the rear panel, offering a refreshed look compared to the previously launched models. Apart from the design change, the Apex variant is expected to retain the same specifications and features as the existing versions.
The iQOO 15 comes equipped with a 6.85-inch Samsung M14 8T LTPO display that delivers a 2K resolution, up to a 144Hz refresh rate, and an impressive 6000 nits of local peak brightness, ensuring a premium viewing experience.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage for high-end performance. It runs on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, and the company has committed to five OS updates and seven years of security patches.
The smartphone is backed by a 7000mAh 4th Gen Silicon Anode battery, supporting 100W wired charging and 40W wireless charging, making it suitable for heavy usage.
For photography, the iQOO 15 features a triple rear camera setup including a 50MP Sony 3x periscope telephoto sensor, a 50MP VCS True Colour primary camera, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, it houses a 32MP selfie camera.
Additional features include a Q3 supercomputing chip, PC-grade ray tracing, iQOO’s first in-house Game Livestreaming Assistant, and an 8000mm² VC cooling system for better thermal management. The device also offers IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, a dual-axis vibration motor, symmetrical dual stereo speakers, IR blaster, and a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.
The smartphone further supports Monster Halo Ambient Lighting, WiFi 7, and Bluetooth 6.0, making it a feature-packed flagship offering.
