According to multiple media reports, the iPhone 17 Air may launch at $899 in the US (approximately ₹89,000 in India), while the top-tier iPhone 17 Pro Max could be priced above ₹1.6 lakh.
Apple is likely to announce the iPhone 17 series between September 8 and 11, 2025 with pre-orders expected to go live shortly after. The global rollout should begin within one to two weeks of the launch, in keeping with Apple’s usual worldwide release pattern.

Expected to be Apple’s thinnest phone ever, the iPhone 17 Air is expected to measure just 5.5mm thick and weigh around 145 grams. It may feature a 6.6-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, be powered by the A19 chip with 8GB RAM and house a single rear camera with 2x optical-quality zoom via Fusion Camera technology.
iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max –
These high-end models will introduce a horizontal camera layout with three 48MP lenses arranged in a triangular format. The flash and LiDAR scanner are repositioned toward the edge of the camera island for a cleaner look. Both are expected to come with upgraded processors and major camera enhancements.
