The standard Infinix Note 30 VIP, previously launched by the company in two colours Magic Black and Glacier Blue, has taken a unique turn with Infinix’s collaboration with BMW Group’s Designworks, introducing the Racing Edition.
This Racing Edition is embedded with advanced technical features. It operates on the Dimensity 8050 SoC and showcases a 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED screen.
Furthermore, photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 108MP main camera and 32MP front-facing camera. The device’s auditory experience is amplified with JBL stereo speakers.
Ensuring security, there’s an in-display fingerprint scanner, and the power is sustained by a 5,000mAh battery with both 68W wired and 50W wireless charging capabilities.
The standout feature of this edition is the 3D Lighting Leather technology on the phone’s back cover, which permits a BMW tri-color rear light band to be visible.
This light band isn’t just for aesthetics; it indicates the phone’s various statuses through diverse light patterns.
Paying tribute to motorsport aesthetics, the Racing Edition incorporates a checkered flag motif on its rear and enhances the user’s grip with small triangle details. This grip design is reminiscent of the texture of performance racing steering wheels.
Another highlight of the Racing Edition is its unique operating system. Tailored specifically for this model, it’s harmonised with the light band’s colors and introduces the Magic Ring, a feature aiming to facilitate multitasking without the constant need to switch apps.
Buyers will be greeted with a special BMW-themed package that includes a 15W wireless charger and TWS earphones. Beyond the product, Infinix promises additional perks, such as after-sales support and accelerated repair services for Racing Edition owners.
The phone is set for a global launch, priced approximately at $315. While storage and RAM details remain under wraps, it’s worth noting that the regular Note 30 VIP variant offers 256GB storage and up to 12GB RAM.
In essence, with the Racing Edition, Infinix and BMW’s Designworks have seamlessly merged the thrill of racing with modern mobile technology.
The phone integrates BMW’s 3D Lighting Leather technology on the rear cover, allowing the iconic tri-colour light band to shine through, reflecting various phone statuses.
The Racing Edition boasts a custom operating system harmonized with the tri-colour light band. A standout feature is the Magic Ring, designed to offer seamless multitasking without frequent app switching.
Apart from the device, buyers receive a BMW-themed package with a 15W wireless charger and TWS earphones. Infinix also provides premium after-sales support and expedited repair services to Racing Edition owners.
The core technical specs, such as the Dimensity 8050 SoC, 6.67″ AMOLED screen, and camera configurations, remain consistent. The major differences are in the design and software enhancements unique to the Racing Edition.
