According to the official announcement, the Infinix Note Edge will be powered by the Dimensity 7100 SoC, marking the commercial debut of the chipset in the smartphone market. Infinix has positioned the Note Edge as a performance-focused device within its Note series lineup.
On the performance front, Infinix stated that the Note Edge will support up to 90FPS gameplay in popular titles such as Honor of Kings and Peacekeeper Elite. PUBG: Battlegrounds is confirmed to run at 60FPS, with the company claiming stable performance even during extended gaming sessions.
Infinix added that the device has been optimised for smooth multiplayer gameplay, responsive multitasking, and consistent frame rates, without compromising thermal stability.
Efficiency improvements have also been highlighted. Infinix claims modem power consumption has been reduced by up to 21%, while background power usage for social applications has been lowered by 4.4%.
